Emily R. Greene

Emily Greene represents businesses, property owners, and individuals in disputes and litigation at all levels of federal and state courts. A skillful litigator, Emily consistently obtains favorable outcomes and settlements.

Her varied litigation experience includes shareholder and partnership disputes, personal injury matters, premises-liability cases, pre- and post-judgment collections and asset recovery matters, large property-loss claims, real estate disputes, and contract claims in federal and state court.

Emily has significant experience representing landlords, property managers, and tenants in both commercial and residential leasing matters, including lease disputes and enforcement, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, collections, evictions, and other real estate-related litigation.

Her practice also includes representing public entities in various matters, including those arising under the Child Victims Act and defending police officers in federal and state lawsuits for alleged civil rights violations.

Her broad litigation experience spans administrative proceedings, state and federal trial courts, and state and federal appellate courts. She has handled matters at all stages of litigation and appeal, including both civil and criminal proceedings.

Immediate Past Chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the Maryland State Bar Association, Emily is actively engaged in community and professional service. She serves on the Board of Directors of both Disability Rights Maryland and Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland, volunteers regularly with local civic initiatives, and mentors other lawyers through bar association programs. She is also a member of several professional and nonprofit organizations dedicated to promoting access to justice, ethical leadership, and civic engagement. Through these roles, Emily brings the same dedication and insight to the community that she does to her legal practice.

Before joining the firm, Emily served as a law clerk for Justice Clayton Greene, Jr., of the Supreme Court of Maryland.

A summa cum laude graduate from the University of Baltimore School of Law, Emily served as the Associate Comments Editor of The University of Baltimore Law Review. She was a summer associate at the firm before graduating.
